  • I know my child is bright and I want to be better equipped to challenge them.
  • I wish I had a small network of moms to better connect with.
  • I'm concerned that my child isn't meeting their developmental milestones.
  • I love having my child at home with me but I feel like they really need to be around other children too.
  • I need more ideas and strategies to keep my little one engaged at home.
  • We are ready to enjoy new experiences together but I don't like the idea of us being exposed to so many germs.
  • Parenting is hard, I have so many questions, and need to know I'm not alone.
A class specifically designed for toddlers, 12-36 months old!  30 minutes of structured play and brain-building activities followed by 30 minutes of rompin' and stompin' free play with a rotating focus on sensory/art, gross motor, fine motor, and pretend play skills!

Do you know what is one of the strongest predictors of a child’s future academic success? LANGUAGE SKILLS.

Did you know that the language skills established by the age of THREE YEARS set the tone for a lifetime of learning ability?

And even more importantly, did you know that there is a direct correlation between PARENT INVOLVEMENT and the complexity of a child's language development?

Class Activities Will Include:

  • a variety of songs, movement, and instruments
  • fingerplays, pretend play, and social experiences
  • early literacy activities
  • sensory, motor, and art play
  • and parachute play

Specific Brain-Building Targets:

  • speech sound/word/phrase expansion
  • following directions
  • listening comprehension
  • listening attention
  • listening and spoken vocabulary expansion
  • social language development
Read more about the RESEARCH regarding the correlation between strong, intentional language development and true pre-academic readiness HERE with more RESEARCH regarding the measurable power of caregiver language development coaching HERE.

This class is created and led by a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) who specializes in early language development. The Bloomers Curriculum is designed for parents of all children who want to advance their child’s expressive and receptive language skills learning proven strategies and techniques in a small group setting. A driving principle behind every class is direct caregiver involvement. Each class will consist of a maximum of 6 children, their caregiver, and one SLP/LSLS.

A social outlet, a play date, mommy and me time, mommy and mommy time, and partnering for accelerated development…now that is time well spent!
