On-site Play & Learn Classes for Toddler Classrooms!

Do you know what is one of the strongest predictors of a child’s future academic success? LANGUAGE SKILLS.

Did you know that the language skills established by the age of THREE YEARS set the tone for a lifetime of learning ability?

Read more about the RESEARCH regarding the correlation between strong, intentional language development and true pre-academic readiness HERE.

Given frequent requests to serve the children in preschool and daycare settings, we created a modified version of our Parent/Child Play & Learn Classes in offering Teacher/Student Play & Learn Classes! Our Speech-Language Pathologist and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist begins by presenting your lead educational staff with a brief in-service followed by scheduled times to come in to the classroom, partnering with the teachers, and leading the children through 4-6 weeks of 20-minute weekly "circle times".  These "circle times" are custom designed to equip the teachers with specific, age-appropriate, evidence-based strategies and activities for creating a listening and language rich environment in the classroom.

Class Activities Will Include:

  • a variety of songs, movement, and instruments
  • fingerplays, pretend play, and social experiences
  • early literacy activities
  • sensory, motor, and art play
  • and parachute play

What Brandy's Clients Are Saying

"I can’t recommend Brandy and her services enough! Prior to finding The Emphasis Project, our family had a really bad experience with a different speech therapist and were really weary in our search to find a good fit for us and our son. Brandy immediately established rapport with my kids, takes the time to explain to me what we’re working on and why, and is so positive and encouraging. Our favorite day is the day we get to see “Miss Brandy”! - Sarah P.
